Tierrasanta Youth Lacrosse

“Our Goal is Simple, Lets Learn and Have Fun. The Scoreboard Will Take Care of Itself”

Our Philosophy:

Tierrasanta Lacrosse’s core foundational philosophy is centered on using the club lacrosse platform to develop advanced lacrosse athletes. We will strive to provide our young athletes from curriculum, to training and to instruction is based on tangible and measurable player development in conjunction with the support of US Lacrosse and our surrounding Tierrasanta Community.

Tierrasanta Youth Lacrosse DOES NOT see club lacrosse solely as a platform to assemble teams and play in tournament events. Our goals are focused on taking our players through a developmental journey where participants will learn the foundational aspects required to play the game at an advanced level in a challenging, productive, competitive and fun environment.

  • Most games are on Saturdays with a few during the week
  • We will be using youth rules to reduce body contact and injury and to allow for size disparity between players

US Lacrosse

  • Every player is required to be a registered member with US Lacrosse for Insurance and Liability.
  • US Lacrosse to register for membership costs $30 for youth players for an entire year
  • Tierrasanta Lacrosse will receive a group number to register with US Lacrosse.

Skills Training

We want our players to confidently perform no matter the competition. We teach the fundamental skills they need to become dynamic and better all-around players.
We strive to teach them fun and innovative ways to enjoy competition is always be competitive.

Critical Thinking

Our players are highly encouraged to be students of the game. Our coaches constantly focus on the strategy behind various movements and plays. Additionally, we provide materials for players to study outside of trainings.

Growing the Game

It’s no longer just about skill. To reach the highest caliber our players need to be some of the most powerful players on the field. We focus heavily on developing player’s physical abilities so that they can perform at their maximum potential.
